TRAINING
As of today Maersk H2S Safety Services runs a "General H2S Basic Course" which is designed to meet industry standards and comply with the Danish Energy Agency's requirements. This course is specifically designed to provide participants with key competences in identifying and managing H2S hazards in the workplace.
The training includes both classroom theory and practical exercises which give exposures in a controlled and safe environment to simulated working situations. On completion of the course, the participant is able to identify the characteristics and properties of H2S and SO2 and its potential sources and be aware of different types of protection and detection equipment.

In Denmark, a complete training facility is available including a Mobile Training Gallery consisting of 3 x 20 containers, of which two are designed as training sections with the remaining one used as the control section. This training gallery can be shipped worldwide to be used as a mobile training school.
